PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This video was produced during a three-day shoot in Boston, combining man-on-the-street interview-style footage, lab b-roll, and polished production elements to support Merck storytelling and communications. The project required travel coordination, crew logistics, field production support, release form management, media wrangling, and asset archiving
As the Production Assistant, I supported the production from pre-production through post-shoot delivery. I helped coordinate crew readiness, travel needs, equipment preparation, production van logistics, on-location setup, grip support, B-roll capture, talent/client releases, media organization, and final asset delivery into Evolphin Zoom.
Coordinated with the Senior Producer to prepare the right crew for the Boston shoot.
Helped manage travel logistics, including hotel bookings and meal planning for the three-day production.
Checked that all production equipment and gear were ready before the shoot.
Helped prepare the production van for the Technical Producer to drive to Boston.
Assisted on all three shoot days with grip support, lighting setup, and production needs.
Helped prepare man-on-the-street style footage setups.
Supported the DP with capturing lab b-roll.
Managed release forms for clients and talent during production.
Wrangled media after the shoot and uploaded assets to Evolphin Zoom for archiving.
Sent signed release forms to the DAM librarian for processing and documentation.
