I’m Samuel Aikins, a versatile media production professional dedicated to creating clear, compelling stories across video, audio, and digital platforms. I’ve always been drawn to the power of storytelling how the right narrative can inform, connect, and move people. That passion drives everything I do.
Over the years, I’ve contributed to a wide range of projects, from corporate training videos and internal communications campaigns to radio programming and editorial scripting. I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations like Merck, GBH, and MKS Instruments, supporting the entire production process from concept through final delivery. Whether collaborating on creative ideas, shaping scripts, managing on-set operations, or guiding meticulous post-production edits, I take pride in ensuring each project is impactful and thoughtfully crafted.
Technically, I’m skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop), Pro Tools for audio editing, and professional camera operation. I’m equally comfortable organizing extensive media libraries, applying metadata, and navigating digital asset management systems to keep complex projects running smoothly and efficiently.
I hold an M.A. in Communication and Digital Media from Pace University, where I explored the art and strategy behind multimedia storytelling, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which gave me a strong foundation in analyzing issues and communicating them effectively.
At the end of the day, I’m driven by the belief that well-crafted media can do more than inform it can spark dialogue, build connections, and inspire action. Whether I’m developing content that helps employees grow, engages a community, or sheds light on important topics, I’m passionate about using media to make meaningful, lasting connections.
